Tee Up for a Cause at Blades Golf

​Join the Eric Scherbarth Leukemia Research Foundation (ESLRF) for our upcoming Charity Golf Team Scramble! Whether you are a scratch golfer or just looking for a fun Saturday, come swing your clubs to help us fight blood cancer.

Event Details

​Get your team together for a day of friendly competition and great food!

​When: Saturday, March 21st

​Where: Blades Golf

​Cost: $75 Per Player

​What's Included: Registration includes 18 holes of golf and a buffet lunch.

The Schedule

​We are hosting two separate scramble tournaments to accommodate everyone:

​8:00 AM: 2-Person Scramble Tournament Kick-off (Limited to 16 Teams!)

​12:00 PM: Buffet Lunch (Served for all players)

​1:00 PM: 3-Person Scramble Tournament Kick-off (Limited to 16 Teams!)

Swing Away Leukemia Golf Outing 2026

Join us for the annual Swing Away Leukemia Golf Outing in honor of Eric Scherbarth. We will be moving to Wanaki Golf Course. Over the last 6 years, we have raised and donated over $150,000 with approximately $110,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help advance blood cancer research. We have also donated roughly $40,000 to cancer patients and their families to help in their fight against blood cancer. We hope you will join us on June 12th, 2026 to help continue our fight against Leukemia in honor of Eric.

In his last days of life, we told Eric, an avid and talented golfer, about our vision for this golf outing. Eric was brought to tears at the possibilities it could open for the future of blood cancer research, and helping other patients along with their families. The Swing Away Leukemia Golf Outing is a great opportunity for you to support a worthy cause. If you are interested please register by June 30th.
