Bringing Comfort to the Front Lines: A Special Delivery to Froedtert Hospital

At the Eric Scherbarth Leukemia Research Foundation (ESLRF), our mission has always been two-fold: advancing research and providing direct support to the families and individuals currently in the thick of their battle with blood cancer. This week, thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and 2025 sponsors, we were able to turn that mission into a tangible moment of care.

We are honored to share that we recently visited the OPAT Day Surgery / Infusion 3rd Floor at Froedtert Hospital to deliver custom comfort bags to patients undergoing treatment.

A Legacy of Support

Eric’s own journey involved months in the hospital and countless procedures. He knew firsthand the emotional and physical toll of long days in a clinical setting. By providing these bags—filled with items meant to bring a sense of home and comfort—we are keeping Eric’s legacy of selflessness alive.

Made Possible by You

This delivery was only possible because of the overwhelming success of our recent fundraising efforts, including the 2025 Swing Away Leukemia Golf Outing. To every sponsor who stepped up and every community member who donated: this is your impact. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the incredible nursing staff and the patients reminds us why we do what we do. We aren't just raising money; we are raising hope and letting these families know they are not fighting alone.

Thank you for being the heart of ESLRF.

There is no top, there are always further heights to reach.
